About This Game In Zulu Response play either as a British soldier or Zulu warrior in first person in a simulated tactical game for singleplayer, 4 person co-op or 8 person mulitplayer.The game is based off true stories from the African Anglo Zulu wars of 1879 where each player has a squad of intelligent AI plus reserves at their command.Command a Squad of AIThere are different classes of player with each having a unique squad of Zulu or British AI to command. Well, I have been fascinated by the Zulu wars ever since I saw Michael Caine in the movie "Zulu". In Zulu Response, you can play as a Zulu warrior or a British soldier. I prefer playing as a British soldier, because I was born in Manchester. First off, the games environment covers an area in Africa where the battle of Rourke's Drift and a few other clashes between Zulu's and the British occurred and the unfamiliarity really drove fear right into me. The landscape of Rourke's Drift seems almost alien...but it is home to the Zulu and they want you dead. Time to step up, because reinforcements may as well be a distant dream. Keep your head on a swivel, because the Zulu warriors attack from all points of the compass and are counting on demoralizing and confusing your troops before their final rush to victory. I like the Zulu conflict time period...fascinating and ruthless. I suggest sseing the movie, "Zulu" (the one with Michael Caine in it) and you may come to understand that in this battle, to "surrender" certainly means a fate worse than death. I can honestly say I would recommend Zulu Response to anyone interested in it's subject matter. I enjoyed it. Playing as a British soldier, you will be apprehensive, fearful and will question why God would put you in that particular position, as the thunder from thousands of Zulu warriors grows ever closer.The Sergeant Major will answer the question of, "Why us...here?""Because we're here...and nobody else IS...". The game its self is really fun but the voice acting is pretty bad like everyone else says graphics arnt to big so if thats your thing this games not for you. Some things went wrong such as sometimes the uniform and sometimes the rifle goes black. the zulus ai are some of the dumbist i have every seen. but i have not played the zulus side yet. motian blur for me a least caused lag and sometimes the game freezes then exits out. I found zulu charges scary (manily because of their dumb ai) but also cause all the other solders die almost instanly. But i still really enjoyed my time in the game and i would recomend it to you.. this is a horrible exuse for a zulu war game dont buy this just because its a zulu war game its not worth it i beg ou to not buy it. Its bad very bad. Dissapointed,game can be improved on going foward,Graphics biggest dissapoinment,seems like they are not up to the standards of 2016,more like the games of the 1990's you have figures floating in air just needs a lot of work right now,for me its unplayable for now
